Pathways for Change
http://www.pathwaysforchange.org/

Pathways For Change is a jail-based treatment program dedicated to improving the quality of life in Northwest Florida by assisting inmates in developing and maintaining a functionally independent lifestyle that is free from the use of dependency-producing drugs, debilitating mental disorders, involvement in antisocial and criminal activities, HIV-AIDS and other communicable diseases, without regard to gender, age, race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or physical/mental disability. Pathways for Change is a division of the Escambia County Detention Center, a Therapeutic Community separated from the general population for the purpose of providing intensive instruction, behavioral modification, and counseling in a structured setting.

WriteForChange will conduct funding research and construct a capacity-building proposal for use with foundations and corporations to build funding for expansion of the program.

“Susan is brilliant! Not only can she comprehend the make up of a new organization in brief time, but she researches and is able to write a grant that gets to the heart of the mission of the organization. Her writing style is succinct and a joy to read. I have hired her to write 4 grants in the past couple of months and she is always on target time wise as well as on budget. Hire her before she gets too busy with new contracts, she is the best kept secret of non-profits!” ~ Connie Bookman, Executive Director

"WriteForChange won us funding for our 2009 Kids For Camp. Susan is a skilled grant writer, enthusiastic member or our team. She recently set up a meeting with Watts Writing Studio to help the Society learn how to make use of social marketing, branding, and improving our web site content. Susan brings full service to her consulting work and we are all the better for it! I highly recommend her and her business to you." ~ Susan Byram, Executive Director

Sustainable Tucson, Tucson, AZ
Http://www.sustainabletucson.org

The purpose of Sustainable Tucson is to facilitate an inclusive, dynamic community-building process that ensures economic prosperity, social vibrancy, and ecological health. Sustainable Tucson is building capacity to transition from an all volunteer organization, to obtaining its own 501c3 and hiring an Executive Director to increase its reach and capacity to educate, inspire, and lead a citizen led campaign for sustainability.

WriteForChange will continue to support Sustainable Tucson with capacity building, grant writing, freelance writing, and consultation.

" Susan is a founding member of Sustainable Tucson and served as its first Facilitator. Under her guidance we formed a Core Leadership Team. WriteForChange wrote an Executive Summary and grant proposals for our start up operations. Without Susan's guidance in that formative year, we would not have attracted diverse stakeholder participation nor organized the first Tucson Green Festival." ~ Ron Proctor, Facilitator
